Street Fancy

The Street Fancies were made of giant dresses, painted and stiffened with layers and layers of stuff. They worked on a long mechanical spring- wound up they could bounce for hours, in a gentle, stylized, graceful sway. The original makers, Fancy.Co., made them remarkably light and human friendly; they could manoeuvre through a street of old ancients, with bright pink stuffed-with-paperweights-handbags or school children, of the wildest kind without any crashes or accidents, or even squashed fingers or greened toes. But they were a bit spooky, everyone agreed on that, even though they were busy laughing like babbling cacklers at them. Spooky, and curious. Scan0039
